FES Gas is part of Field Energy Services Australia, a high voltage services company working for utilities, rail and mining clients throughout Australia. Field Energy Services installs, maintains, repairs and tests switchgear, and builds and commissions substations.
Gas handling grew out of that switchgear work. SF6 recovery and analysis has been part of the company's capability for years, and as the regulatory weight around insulating gases has grown, so has the case for treating it as its own discipline. FES Gas is that discipline given a name, with its own technicians and its own handling equipment.
Behind the brand sits the same company: a dedicated workshop for switchgear repair and modification, our own test instruments for commissioning and monitoring, and a proven network of suppliers across the country.
